CRS REPROCESSING SERVICES EXPANDS SOLIDS CONTROL OFFERINGS IN OIL & GAS INDUSTRY
Michael J. Heath hired to lead expansion as Global General Manager
Louisville, KY (March 12, 2013) — CRS Reprocessing Services (CRS) has expanded its service offerings in the Oil & Gas industry. Building upon more than 30 years of experience, CRS—a market leader in industrial fluid recycling—will now provide closed-loop drilling fluid solids control in addition to fluid reprocessing services already available for air drilling and hydraulic fracturing. The closed-loop drilling fluid recycling has the ability to accommodate multiple fluid types including oil-, water- and synthetic-based drilling muds.
Recently established in the Oil & Gas industry, CRS—an ISO-certified service provider— has quickly set itself apart within the solids control space through industry-leading recovery rates, turnkey services and a proprietary modular system that reduces the footprint for on-site equipment. In addition, on- and off-site labs, owned and managed by CRS, ensure the highest quality results possible. This new offering minimizes low-gravity solids (LGS), allowing more efficient and effective drilling while reducing operating costs and minimizing impact to the environment.
To lead the expansion of services, Michael J. Heath has joined CRS as its Global General Manager—Oil & Gas Services. With nearly fifteen years of industry experience—and significant expertise in solids control—Heath’s broad knowledge of drilling and completion fluids includes solids control, environmental solutions and water treatment.
“This business expansion is enabled by more than 30 years of experience in solids control and our deep engineering expertise. These new offerings will allow access to new solutions and higher levels of performance to this industry at a critical time,” said Chief Executive Officer Scott Massie, CRS. “We are very excited to have Michael join the team and his previous experience and roles will be crucial as we begin to explore territories beyond the Marcellus/Utica shale region in Ohio and Pennsylvania.”
Prior to joining CRS, Heath worked in various industry roles such as general manager, engineering manager and engineer, successfully launching and growing oil field service businesses. Previous employers in the field include Ervin Well Site Consulting, Complete Energy Services, M-I SWACO and Weatherford USA.
Heath will be working from an office in the Greater Fort Worth, Texas area, where he currently resides.
