New Deal Also Includes Significant Expansion of Services

solarLouisville, KY (May 26, 2010) — CRS Reprocessing Services, LLC (CRS) recently signed an exclusive, multi-year contract extension with Bosch Solar Energy. The contract renews the ongoing relationship between the two companies while increasing CRS’s role in two Bosch locations. The contract runs through 2014 and is eligible for renewal.

“Even though we are the incumbent with Bosch, this contract is a big ‘win’ for us,” said Wolfram Schimke, general manager of CRS’s European operations. “They recognized the expertise of our team and believe strongly in our strategic long-term relationship. Therefore, this contract is a big challenge to continue to demonstrate the high quality of our team and the service we provide.”

The terms of the new contract call for CRS to provide service at the Bosch facilities in Arnstadt, Thuringia, Germany, where Bosch manufactures photovoltaic wafers and cells for use in the solar industry. CRS’s solution was custom-designed to meet Bosch’s expansion needs. In 2011 CRS will be processing more than 1,800 metric tons of slurry each month, and significant additional capacity is in place to support Bosch’s expansion plans.

“As one of the leading manufacturers in this industry, Bosch’s position in the industry is a European success story. The integration of CRS’s service quality with the expertise of Bosch creates an optimal situation for both companies,” added Schimke.

“CRS’s unique on-site model and their close partnership with us were key factors in our decision,” said Lars-Oliver Stock, managing director of Bosch Solar Energy. “They provide quality-driven support, which we have experienced for several years.

“We trust CRS and the relationship we’ve built together. We are confident in their ability to handle our reprocessing services in a high-quality and competitive fashion. Based on our calculations, Bosch is able to lower our total cost of ownership by having CRS handle our reprocessing and their continuous improvement programs are an exceptional value-added proposition for us,” concluded Stock.

CRS REPROCESSING SERVICES RECEIVES “FAST 50” AWARD

nexolon-releaseGlobal Slurry Reprocessor is among fastest-growing businesses

Louisville, KY (October 28, 2009) — CRS Reprocessing Services, LLC (CRS), a leading provider of slurry reprocessing for the solar and semiconductor wafer manufacturing industry, is among Louisville’s fifty fastest-growing businesses for 2009, according to Business First. CRS has been in the business of reprocessing industrial fluid streams for more than 30 years. During that time the company has perfected the process, achieving the highest levels of competency for the benefit of its customer base.

“Few people locally are aware of CRS as a major “green” technology company that has a significant global footprint. Our expansion has been extraordinary in the past year, increasing our staff by 75 percent worldwide as we develop new partnerships and markets,” said Scott T. Massie, CEO of the company.

In its nomination for the award, the CRS management team acknowledged that the tightening credit markets have presented a challenge in the company’s capital-intensive business. However, its multi-year contracts with several clients have stymied any potential impact. “This economic downturn has affected all industries, including our markets,” said Massie. “As we expand further into Asia and navigate new business cultures, we know we’ll be tested; but that’s another opportunity for growth and we’re excited about it.”

CRS is a global company that has developed a number of proprietary recycling processes for reprocessing coolants, lubricants, slurry and other fluids for industries such as flat metal rolling, solar and semiconductor wafer manufacturing. With CRS’ Optimized Reprocessing Management (ORM), the company can design, build, install, operate and maintain its customers’ reprocessing infrastructures to achieve an optimal level of quality and consistency. An on-site solution allows customers to eliminate risky and expensive transportation, preserve resources and improve regulatory compliance.

Options for off-site reprocessing are available, along with complete engineering support and ancillary services. More information about CRS can be found online at www.crs-reprocessing.com.
