Louisville, KY (October 6, 2009) — One of the world’s largest slurry reprocessors for solar and semiconductor wafering, CRS Reprocessing Services, LLC (CRS) has named Scott T. Massie as chief executive officer. Massie is the former CEO of EPV Solar, a leading manufacturer of thin film solar power modules based in Robbinsville, New Jersey.

“Having someone at the helm with Scott’s exceptional background – including a wealth of solar and semiconductor industry experience – positions CRS for continued success in both the short and long term,” said Argosy Capitals’ Steven Morgenthal, a member of the CRS board of directors. “In addition to being an experienced CEO, Scott’s background includes materials engineering, R&D, operations, energy & wafer technology and global business development, giving him a unique perspective on this business.”

Massie has 20 years’ experience in the solar, semiconductor and wafering industries. Prior to joining EPV Solar, Massie served as executive vice president and COO of Emcore Corporation, a publicly traded company with holdings in the digital fiber and photovoltaic industries and $500 million in market capitalization. Before that, Massie worked at IQE Inc., rising through the ranks to become president of the company, which has $60 million in annual revenue.

Louisville, KY (July 15, 2009) — With six installations in Europe, U.S.-based CRS Reprocessing Services, LLC (CRS) has announced the opening of its European Headquarters in Leipzig, Germany, headed by General Manager Wolfram Schimke.
