CRS PRESIDENT BILL LAWRENCE NAMED ERNST & YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR® 2011 AWARD FINALIST
Louisville, KY (June 08, 2011) — Louisville-based CRS Reprocessing Services, LLC (CRS) today announced that the company’s founder and president, William L. “Bill” Lawrence, is an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2011 Award finalist.
According to Ernst & Young LLP, the awards program recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. A panel of independent judges selected Lawrence as a South Central Ohio and Kentucky finalist from nearly 100 nominations. Award winners will be announced at a special gala event on June 30, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati.
Lawrence founded CRS Reprocessing in 1981 by creating an innovative process for recycling industrial fluids – primarily slurry, coolants and lubricants – which are industrial waste by-products of diverse industries such as solar and semiconductor wafer manufacturing and flat-metal rolling.
“Our processes have greatly mitigated the potentially negative environmental impact of the industries we serve,” Lawrence said. “We’ve helped customers throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia substantially reduce their costs, while making them greener.”

The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Program celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. The program has expanded to recognize business leaders in more than 140 cities and more than 50 countries throughout the world.
Regional award winners are eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Award. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the Entrepreneur Of The Year overall National Award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on November 12, 2011. The gala is the culminating event of the Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Forum®, the nation’s most prestigious gathering of high-growth, market-leading companies, which will be held November 9-13, 2011.
