CRS Lends Muscle to Louisville, KY Habitat for Humanity Build
CRS Reprocessing Services recently took part in construction of a LEED®-qualified Habitat for Humanity project in Louisville, Kentucky’s Portland neighborhood. CRS is a global company headquartered in Louisville that recycles fluids used in the manufacturing process, primarily in the solar and semiconductor industries. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is an internationally recognized green building certification system. Built to stringent requirements, this house will offer lower energy usage and decreased costs for the homeowners. CRS is proud to be a Bronze sponsor of the build and sent 18 volunteers to work two days at the house. Pending certification, this will be the second Habitat for Humanity LEED-certified residence in Louisville. Dedication is scheduled for November 12.
